The Bennett team includes a cohort of Global Team Leads, seasoned education specialists who have worked with families for years and who oversee and support Bennett’s consultants by region. Though the majority of their time is spent supporting their consultant team and overseeing their team’s work, our Global Team Leads (GTLs) are also “client facing” in that they are the people who send regular updates to our corporate and RMC clients on how a particular file is going. They are an extremely knowledgeable group, and we gather them together every now and then for a GTL retreat with our Operations team.
The retreat is a combination of work and play. There’s much discussion of how to address the needs of individual clients, how to make our processes as efficient and smooth as possible, and how to be ever-better at what we do; there are also many good meals, long walks and talks, and even the occasional scavenger hunt or team-bonding event.
In November, the GTLs came from around the world to spend three days in Philadelphia with Bennett’s Operations team. Based on the energy everyone radiated by the end of the retreat, it was time well spent, and we were sad to say goodbye when the time came.
